Kevin Antonyshyn offers a wealth of expertise as an advisor helping clients navigate complex legal and financial matters.  He currently practices as a Lawyer, Notary Public, and Chartered Professional Accountant, and has been serving clients in his own practice for over 25 years.  With a commitment to excellence and integrity, Kevin uses his unique and exceptional combination of skills to provide clients with fully-integrated legal, tax and financial solutions that cater to individual client needs.  He offers an unparalleled insight and perspective that can only be provided by an advisor who is both a Lawyer and a CPA.

As a Lawyer, Kevin provides legal advice and assistance primarily in wills, estates & trusts, corporate & commercial, and taxation & tax planning matters.  As a CPA, he provides tax compliance & planning, accounting, and consulting/advisory services.  He serves individuals, estates & trusts, and owner-managed businesses (proprietors, partnerships and corporations).

Kevin successfully completed the requirements to become a lawyer while he maintained his practice as a professional accountant.  Prior to starting his own accounting and tax practice, he held positions of progressive management responsibility with large national corporations where he obtained significant experience in financial, marketing and strategic planning roles.

Kevin is active in the community and has extensive experience contributing to and providing leadership on many professional, not-for-profit, corporate and credit union boards and committees, and is and has been a member of several professional organizations.  In addition, he has presented on complex tax topics to lawyers, accountants, financial planners and other professionals, and to families who have members with disabilities.  He has also shared his knowledge by serving on the editorial panel for a law textbook and has been published in a law journal.

Kevin obtained a B.Comm.(Honours) in finance, MBA in finance and marketing, and LL.B in law from the University of Manitoba, and he is a Chartered Professional Accountant.  In addition, he completed a Strategic Management Course at the University of Saskatchewan and a Leadership Course at The Niagara Institute, and most recently the Credit Union Director Achievement program designed and administered by the Canadian Credit Union Association.  Throughout his education Kevin has received numerous awards and prizes for academic excellence.  While obtaining his accounting designation he received the gold medal for Manitoba and achieved the highest standing across Canada in both advanced tax and advanced finance.  While in law school he was on the Dean's Honour List and received several other awards and prizes.

Kevin was born and raised in Winnipeg.  He enjoys building pretty much anything, the creativity of cooking, as well as sharing a good story and a few laughs with family and friends.
